STORY
HANDCRAFTED IN MEXICO BY MIXMA STUDIO
The Tejada chair has a visual lightness and a versatile form that works well in a wide variety of applications. It has a somewhat exaggerated wide proportion to it that adds comfort and gives it gravitas. The seat is available in natural woven palm or an upholstered seat cushion. Its silhouette is somewhat inspired by the late 19th-century American arts and crafts movement with a modern minimalist twist. The generous seat proportions are ergonomically optimized to provide ample space for lounging. The style of weaving incorporates a sunken element in the center, which is not only a curious focal point but also conforms to the user. Manufactured in Mexico by Mixma Studio.
Designed in Brooklyn by Ben Kicic & Emilio Halperin.
